Job Description :

The PMO is responsible for the delivery of consistent high quality support to the NGA project delivery teams.

By ensuring compliance to standards, adoption of the NGA methodologies the PMO colleagues are responsible for monitoring and enforcing processes and procedures across projects and programs that they support.

This role requires support to be provided in shifts depending on the project time-zone.


Delivery Key responsibilities:

Support the delivery of projects and programs through the adoption of NGA standard tools and methodologies

Generate and publish various project management reports on weekly basis

Support SharePoint Project Site Management

Delivery of project start up support inclusive of; updating project plans, project financials, document repository set up and other key tasks that support an effective project initiation

Track and report on the various statuses and ensure that reports and dashboards are updated in accordance with the reporting time table.

Monitor and update plans in accordance with the key milestones

Maintain a resource forecast in liaison with the Regional Resource Managers

Monitor and follow-up on project risks, issues, decisions and actions log

Support change control process and associate logs and generate weekly reports

Main Accountability:

To ensure that compliance to NGA standards is adhered to across the projects being delivered

To share best practice and key learning to support continuous improvement

To deliver project reporting and maintain systems of information in accordance with NGA standards

To continuously improve ways of working and share best practice

Key Criteria to monitor performance:

Completion of mandatory training,

Time recording and approval,

Adoption of NGA standard methodology

Accuracy and quality of standard documentation and deliverable
