Q. How to register as a Job seeker?
A. You can register at our Job portal by using the Register link available at the top menu. In the Register page, you need to select the category as Candidate and fill in the details to register at Career Grape.
Q. How to register as a Company/Recruiter?
A. You can register at our Job portal by using the Register link available at the top menu. In the Register page, you need to select the category as Employer and fill in the details to register at Career Grape.
Q. Is it mandatory to provide my email address & phone number to register my account?
A. Yes, you have to provide email address & phone number to register your account with us. These credentials help us to keep your account secure and also help Companies to contact with you regarding job interviews.
Q. I used a wrong email address to create my account, what should I do?
A. You need to create a new account with the correct emails address so that Recruiters can contact you if necessary. The old account with the wrong email address will be deleted from the server automatically after a while.
Q. I forgot my password, what to do now?
A. You can use the Forgot Password link to reset your password. You can find the link at the bottom of the login form.
Q. Do I need to login to my account before applying on any job?
A. Yes! You have to be logged in to your candidate account in order to apply on any jobs.
Q. Do I need to login to my account before applying on any job?
A. Yes! You have to be logged in to your Recruiters account in order to post a new job.
Q. Does it cost to create an account at Career Grape?
A. NO! Registering with us is absolutely FREE. You can search unlimited number of Jobs without paying anything.
Q. Do I need to complete my profile?
A. It is not mandatory, but yes it is very much advisable to complete your profile to 100%. Completed profiles get better job recommendations and attract the attention of Companies/Recruiters. You can click on the profile progress bar to check the percentage a particular section carries for the completion of the profile to 100%.
Q. How do I upload my resume?
A. You can complete your profile & upload your resume in the Candidate DASHBOARD page. You can also upload your Resume by visiting the “Resume” page under “Profile” section in the Candidate DASHBOARD panel.
Q. Is there any limitation on the file upload size?
A. Yes! You can upload a file size up to 300KB for Resume and up to 150KB for profile photo.
Q. What is “CREATE JOB ALERT”?
A. You can create up to 5 job alerts with preferences like keywords, location, experience, expected salary and skills. These alerts will help you to get custom & filtered job notifications matching the preferences that you have stated in the alert types.
Q. How can I apply for a Job?
A. First you need to verify your email address, phone number and update your qualifications in your profile dashboard to be eligible to apply on a job. Once it’s done, you can apply on any jobs of your liking. Once you’ve successfully applied on a job, you will receive an email at your registered email address confirming you job application.
Q. Is there a limit to the number of skills I can add to my profile?
A. Yes, a candidate can add up to 20 number of skills to their profile.
Q. How to check the jobs that I’ve applied for?
A. You can check Job application history in the “Jobs Applied” Tab under “History” Section on your Candidate DASHBOARD.
Q. I need help/assistance, whom to contact?
A. You can always use the Help page and chat with our online representative for any kind of assistance.
Q. How can I follow a Company/Recruiter?
A. You can follow a company by clicking on the unfollow icon which you can find in the Company section of every job posting. Once you click it the icon turns follow, stating that you’ve started following the Company/ Recruiter and henceforth you will receive notifications every time the Company/Recruiter posts a Job. You can follow multiple Companies/Recruiters and stay updated on their job posts.
Q. How do I know if my job application has been accepted by the Company/Recruiter?
A. A Company/Recruiter has the sole discretion on accepting/rejecting your job application. If your application is accepted by the Company, they will contact you on your email and/or phone number for further proceedings.
Q. What is view My profile views?
A. It shows the number & details of the Companies/Recruiters those who checked your profile and resume.
Q. What is page view my page?
A. “View my Page” is a public page of your candidate profile which you can share with anyone. Our systems create a professional looking webpage encompassing all the sections of your profile, which you have updated on your profile page.
Q. A recruited has posted a false/fraud job, what can I do?
A. You can REPORT any Job as Fraud/False on the job details page. There is a REPORT button on every job page. Once you report a Job as false/fraud, our team will investigate into the matter and if the Job/Company is found to be fraud, we’ll immediately block it on our website.
Q. How to Search Candidates?
A. You can search candidates in the “Search Candidates” tab in the Company DASHBOARD with preferences like location, keywords, qualifications and experience.
Q. Does it cost to create an account at Career Grape?
A. NO! Registering with us is absolutely FREE. You can post jobs or search candidates only after registering on our website as an Employer.
Q. How to post a Job?
A. First you have to complete your basic details and verify your email address to start posting jobs. Once you have completed the basic details page, you can start posting jobs by visiting “Create Job” under the Jobs section in the Company DASHBOARD.
Q. How does the schedule interview process work?
A. Once you receive job applications on your posted job you can start assigning candidates those whomatch the requirements for the particular job by clicking on the “Assign Candidates” button. Once assigned, you can schedule the interview date & time for those assigned candidates by clicking on the “Schedule Interview” button. You can send theInterview scheduleinformation to the candidates over email by clicking on the email icon and also can send text message by clicking on the msg icon.
Q. Is there any limitation in sending Interview Schedule information over Email/SMS?
A. Yes, you can send up to 2 Emails & SMSs per candidate per job, carrying the interview schedule or Selected for the Job information.
Q. Is there any limitation on the file upload size?
A. Yes! You can upload a file size up to 150KB for CompanyLogoimage.

Q. What are followers?
A. The candidates those who are following you are your followers. You can check their profile by clicking the followers icon in the top notification panel.
