Responsibilities and Tasks
Lead a team of Basis Administrators
Oversee implementation and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment, based on system lifecycles.
Troubleshoot problems with connectivity, web services, and overall aspects of the SAP solution.
Ensure the team meets expectations for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance of SAP systems.
Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP performance tuning. strategies, based on metric-based service level objectives.
Collaborate with Operations as well as service providers.
Collaborate with project managers.
Design and implement the disaster recovery plan for the SAP operating systems.
Coordinate Early Life Support (ELS) for new implementations and changes to SAP technology.
Maintain related knowledge throughout an efforts lifecycle and ensure timely sharing of that knowledge to peers and support areas.
